With a warm, compassionate, and curious approach, I work collaboratively with clients to identify and achieve meaningful therapeutic goals. I have a particular interest in supporting women and girls, and I am committed to fostering an open, non-judgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore their lives and make positive changes.
My interest lies in supporting individuals facing a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges, including trauma and abuse, relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, work-related stress, medically unexplained physical symptoms and parenting concerns. I have specialised experience in the perinatal period, providing a safe, supportive environment to address the unique mental health concerns that can arise before, during, and after pregnancy. My background in public mental health has enabled me to work effectively with young adults experiencing complex presentations, supporting them throughout their recovery.
My therapeutic approach draws on a range of evidence-based modalities, informed by psychodynamic and attachment principles, to help clients explore their experiences and work towards lasting change.
Therapeutic modalities:
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
- Brief Psychodynamic Therapy
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Neuroaffirming Therapist
