I am currently available for appointments Monday and Thursday afternoons. I am currently accepting new clients.

Throughout my life I have maintained a keen interest in and passion for food and its relationship to health and disease, particularly mental health. I enjoy working to empower women, girls, gender-diverse and non-binary people.

I have experience treating:
  • Eating disorders (Anorexia nervosa, Bulimia nervosa, NOSFED, Binge Eating Disorder, Compulsive Overeating)
  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
  • Gastrointestinal Nutrition including irritable bowel syndrome or malabsorption of lactose or fructose
  • Insulin resistance, impaired glucose tolerance Type 2 or gestational Diabetes and metabolic syndrome
  • High cholesterol, high triglycerides, hypertension and other heart health problems
  • Iron deficiency anaemia
  • Women's health including menopause and osteoporosis
  • Improving diet to optimise fertility
  • Adequate nutritional intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Nutritionally adequate vegetarian eating
  • Education and support with nutrition for good health and vitality

I am a fertility dietitian with expertise in helping clients improve their diet to optimise fertility and make sure future babies get a head start in life. I have detailed knowledge of preconception needs and a comprehensive understanding of the fertility journey. Health issues, medical background, family history, allergies and intolerances, cultural aspects and food preferences are all considered. These differences can't be addressed by applying general nutrition guidelines, optimal fertility nutrition is best achieved by working with the individual. When trying to conceive naturally, or undergoing IVF or assisted reproduction, I can support you.

My experience in the field of eating disorders is extensive. I have worked and studied at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden at the Mandometer and MandoLean clinics whose eating disorder treatment focuses on behaviour change and normalising eating behaviour. I am also the Senior Dietitian at a private psychiatric hospital in Melbourne and lead the team of dieticians in the eating disorders program and general psychiatry.

I am passionate about supporting people in developing a healthy relationship with food, I also connect strongly with the Health at Every Size philosophy. My aim is to provide a supportive and non-judgemental environment, while providing sensible non-prescriptive advice about food and nutrition.

With much confusion in our society about what to eat, the “good” and the “bad” and conflicting views in the media I enjoy debunking the myths and erroneous information that leaves people feeling bewildered and anxious. My principle aim is to help people understand and respond to their natural cues of hunger and fullness, understand their appetite and learn to eat intuitively.
